Yesterday I barely made it out of bed. My nose had been running and I was seeing more coffin than a big graveyard during the plague. This morning was no different but I figured I had been cooped up long enough. I have never been to the Prince Islands and maybe a little sunshine, clean air, and exercise would do me good. Besides, if I go alone I won’t have to worry about trying to maintain a conversation when I still have no voice. So off I went.
On the boat ride up, I decided to make my excursion a little game. Starting with one picture as soon as I stepped off the dock, every minute, no matter where I was, I would take another picture. I figured this would be an excellent way to force me to be aware of my surroundings, and such beautiful surroundings they were.
I actually took about 120 pictures before my camera said, “Enough. I’m tired. I’m shutting down.” Most of these pictures are now here for your viewing pleasure. I have done absolutely no editing except a little cropping to “trim the edges” so that you can best see what I was looking at.
